A daily number puzzle built around complements

TENFOLD is a free sliding puzzle played on a 4 × 4 board. Pair single digits that add to 10—such as 1 and 9 or 4 and 6. Once you make tens, matching values merge again: 10 + 10 becomes 20, 20 + 20 becomes 40, and the chain continues.

How to play

  1. Swipe or use the arrow keys to slide every tile.
  2. Join complementary digits whose sum is exactly 10.
  3. Join equal tiles of 10 or more to double them.
  4. Build toward 640 while keeping space on the board.

The same puzzle for everyone

Daily mode uses the same deterministic tile sequence for every player and resets at 00:00 UTC. Submitted scores are replayed on the server from the seed and every recorded move before they enter the global leaderboard.

What makes TENFOLD different?

Unlike a standard matching game, early tiles merge by complementary value, not equality. Planning shifts once the first 10 appears: from making pairs to arranging a doubling chain. Multiple merges in one move also earn a combo bonus.
